MISSIONS AND MINISTRY CLASS LIST

Building a Children’s Ministry from the Ground Up CM12

This course is designed to equip church leaders, missionaries, and church planting teams with the essential knowledge and skills to establish and maintain a thriving children’s ministry.  These concepts work in any church, culture, or denomination, from the smallest village church to a large mega-church. Students will learn the value of Children’s Ministry, effective teaching methods, recruiting volunteers, team-building principals, and how to write and create your curriculum.

Caring for the Church CH8

Caring for people is an integral part of the mission of every church, but this encompasses a broad territory because of the many real-life challenges, problems and celebrations which occur in the lives of congregants. This class will provide a biblical approach for pastors and church members to better understand their role in caring for God’s people to help them navigate life events successfully.

Dynamic Church Planting International DCPI18

This foundational training, offered by Dynamic Church Planting International (DCPI), is taught by DCPI Master Trainer Dr. Pamela Henkel and Certified Trainer Angela Roberts. Using the illustration of a baby’s 9-month development, this course guides students through the process of planting a church—from conception to birth and beyond. Students will learn how to plan culturally relevant outreach, design a process of discipleship, and avoid common pitfalls such as launching too soon, selecting the wrong facility, or exhausting their launch team. A key component is the Vision-Plan-Timeline (VPT). This hands-on project helps students organize and refine their vision, strategies, and timeline early to create a clear roadmap for planting and sustaining churches. Built on 12 Biblical Principles for Church Planting, this course lays a solid foundation for Kingdom multiplication. Graduates will also have the opportunity to pursue the DCPI Certified Trainer course for further equipping (details provided in class).
